France Montgolfières Balloon Company was founded over 25 years ago, Flying on average 7000 passengers a year from a range of locations, the fleet of balloons used are of the highest quality available today.

In 2011, France Montgolfières open a new site in Bourg Madame, Cerdagne. For all the lovers of the big spaces, the experience is unique. Take off in the heart of the Catalan valley. Discovery of the eternal snow, under the luminosity of the great south!

Pilots and Ground Crew are recruited and in house trained, guaranteeing you the highest level of service. As well as flying people, France Montgolfières provides training and licences to would-be balloon pilots, designs and sells custom-made balloons, engages in special PR promotions and filming projects.

The Pilot

Fernando Muga 1500 flight hours in balloons Fernando has been flying balloons for the last 14 years and working in adventure travel for the last 25 years. He has flown balloons over Europe, Africa, South-America & Asia. He joined France Montgolfieres on 2009 and has flown at Île de France, Provence, Auvergne and Bourgogne.  He actually runs our New France Montgolfieres base at the Pyrenees.
