For the duration of a week-end Forcalquier was the meeting place for balloons from all over Europe and beyond.
Pilots came from France of course, but also Germany, Luxemburg, England, Wales, Switzerland, the USA, Canada and Australia giving a real international feeling to this edition of the Forcalquier balloon festival.
Out of the four flights planned only Sunday evening's flight had to be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, otherwise over 150 passengers took to the skies and discovered the joys of lighter than air flight!
